Wings to flee these carnal shells

Where sins old night stained weakness dwells.

Wings to flee these self born things.

Wings to lift where spirit sings.

 

God give us Wings!

Too long we've dwelt beneath the haze.

Too long our night oer ran our days.

Too long we walked by earth born sight.

Now give us Wings to soar to light.
